CLERMONT, Fla. – The Panthers improved their win streak to three by defeating Mount Vernon Nazarene University and Point Park University. Davenport saw an exciting game against Mount Vernon Nazarene as junior pitcher
Mallory Teunissen threw her first career perfect game. The Panthers beat the Cougars 12-0 in only five innings of play. Later in the afternoon Davenport then defeated the Pioneers of Point Park University 4-1 and improved their Florida record to 7-1 so far. Teunissen's perfect game was the fifth in program history. Both
Emily Maves and Sam Cole pitched two perfect games during their four year careers at Davenport.

The highlight of this game is Teunissen's perfect game, but the offense for the Panthers had an impressive outing as well. Davenport scored 12 runs on 10 hits, scoring four runs in both the third and fourth innings. Flores drove in the first runs of the game with a two run homer in the top of the first. The bats cooled down for Davenport in the second game of the day, recording five hits against Point Park University. Despite the low amount of hits the Panthers still scored four runners over the six innings they batted. Koza drove the first run in of the game, with a sac hit to third base, scoring Jewell on the play. The Pioneers tied up the game 1-1 in the top of the fifth inning. Davenport responded with two runs in the bottom of the fifth, courtesy of a Pauley double to center field that scored Crawford and
Jorden Urban. Jewell added a cushion run in the bottom of the sixth with a solo shot to left center to give DU a 4-1 lead. Muilenburg earned her fourth win of the season. She gave up nine hits in the game, but only allowed one earned run off those hits.
