Women's Tennis cruises to 5-0 win over Cornerstone

DU lost just one game during the entire match

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - It was a quick match on Wednesday for the Davenport women's tennis team against rival Cornerstone with a 5-0 win over the Golden Eagles. DU lost just one game during the match improving to 11-9 overall and 5-1 in the WHAC. Four of the singles matches were unfinished because DU hit the five-point mark needed for a victory. Steph Ritson and Hannah Murphy got points in singles play. Ritson/Adeline Nelson, Bridget Barrett/Murphy and Sophie Gossett/Ashley Medcoff also won 8-0 in doubles.
