Panthers end regular season with 9-0 win over Concordia
ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The Davenport men's tennis team picked up an easy 9-0 win at Concordia to end the regular season at 12-13 overall and 2-4 in the WHAC. The Panthers will next host the WHAC Tournament beginning on April 29 in Grand Rapids on three locations.
The match featured just one game won by the Cardinals as the Panthers dominated throughout. The three doubles and six singles were defaulted by Concordia which led to two points.
Matthew McClurg and
Matthew Boyle won 8-0 at one doubles.
Kevin Slagh and
Haja Denise also won 8-0 at two doubles. Boyle won 6-1, 6-0 at one singles over Joel Werner. JP van Antwerpen (two singles), Slagh (three singles),
Michael Digby (four singles) and
Devan Lockington (five singles) all won at love.
