Panthers Prevail 5-0 at Lawrence Tech
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - The Davenport women's tennis team improved to 19-5 overall and 4-0 in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference with a 5-0 win at Lawrence Tech (12-9, 1-2 WHAC) on Thursday afternoon. The team improved to 7-0 in true away matches this season. Davenport played two matches in doubles and won those while also getting a third point by forfeit at three doubles.
Anne Douwes and
Steph Ritson defeated Paige Fallu and Rylie Fallu, 8-2, at one doubles.
Hannah Murphy and
Bridget Barrett also won 8-0 at two doubles over Ana Hernandez and Missy Coolsaet.
DU got their final two points at five and six singles. LTU forfeited the six singles match and
Ashley Medcoff won 6-1, 6-3 at five singles over Brittany Schmidt.
