Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Davenport baseball team scored 12 runs to tie a season-high set two other times this season in a 12-5 win at Webber International on Friday night. The Panthers scored single runs in the first, second, third and fifth innings. They also had two runs in the sixth and three runs in the seventh and ninth innings. DU had 15 hits and were aided by six Webber errors.
Corey Murphy got the start and tossed six innings for the win. He allowed two runs, two walks and struck out seven including three looking.
Alex Schuiling and
Jonathan Cheshire each threw one relief scoreless inning in the eighth and ninth respectively.
Connor Seymour and
Brandon Larkin-Guilfoyle each went 3-for-4. Seymour scored three runs and had a stolen base.
Travis Bolin hit his fifth home run of the season and also had a double with two RBI.
Dominic Albanese drove in three runs and had a triple.
Zack Sardellitti went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI.
