The Davenport Women's Rugby team is switching back to 15's to gear up for a big Spring Road trip, playing two DI teams and one DII in the process. Davenport looks to pick up where they left off just a few short weeks ago in the 15's game, with their foot on the gas pedal. Arkansas State has a fairly new women's program, just in their second year as a club sport at the University, but they've started off strong. They've been in and out of the top 15 ranked DII teams in 2015 and are currently at the #12 spot in the nation. The Panthers are ranked #1 in DII.

With these two teams squaring off for the first time in both of the program's history, Davenport has to stick to their game plan and execute their pattern of play to come out on top, just like when they played DI University of Minnesota. Junior center Melissa Francis touched on game focuses as well as something that's very important to most rugby players, growing the game.

"Our main focus going in is spreading the knowledge and love of the game of rugby along with coming together as a team on this long road trip. We don't necessarily have an exact game plan when it comes to how we will play against them, but what we need to do is outperform them. We will just have to play rugby."

Live stream for the game is not available, but you can follow along on Twitter (@DU_WRugby) for a live update of the game as well as Periscope for short, live videos of the game.
