Box Score HUNTINGTON, Ind. – The men's soccer team extended their win streak to five on Saturday with a 4-1 win at Huntington University. The Panthers are now 5-1-1 overall while the Foresters drop to 4-3-1 on the season.
Davenport held a 21-10 edge in total shots including 12-7 on goal. The Panthers did all of their damage in the first half scoring the first four goals of the match. T.J. Ifaturoti continued his scoring prowess with the team's first two goals in the fourth and sixth minute to get the Panthers out early.
Jordan Van Oostenbrugge then made it 3-0 in the 26th minute with a helper from
Jake Love.
Manny Gorh extended the lead to 4-0 in the 37th minute. Hayden Suter broke up the shutout in the 72nd minute for Huntington with Isaac Wust credited with an assist.
Aaron Orban made five saves for Davenport and Troy Hester made just one save before being lifted in the second half for James Couchman. Couchman made two saves in the second half.
