Box Score ADRIAN, Mich. - The Davenport men's Division III hockey team picked up a 4-2 road win on Friday night at Adrian College-Black. The Bulldogs jumped ahead 2-0 in the first stanza as Joel Wakelin (7:42) and Brandon McLean (14:19) gave the home team a boost. The Panthers turned up the intensity and got a quick one back just 29 seconds after Adrian's second goal.
Jordan Crawford scored unassisted to cut the lead to 2-1 after 20 minutes.
Crawford tied the game 1:03 into the second period from
Zach Schwandt and the teams were deadlocked after 40 minutes. DU's
Hunter Ellens put home the game-winner at 9:57 of the third period from
Jacob Blok and assisted on the final goal at 19:08 scored by
Austin Bliznik.
Andrew Habasevich stopped 41 shots to earn the win in net for the Panthers.
