WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Davenport bowling teams traveled to the Hoosier State for the Boilermaker Classic hosted by Purdue. The format of the event consisted of five individual games and four team baker games. The men's team finished 10th out of 16 teams with a total pinfall of 7,132. They had 4,362 in the individual session and 2,770 in the baker session. The women's team finished 15th out of 17 teams with a total pinfall of 5,979. They rolled a 3,645 in the individual portion and 2,334 in baker games.
Olivia Clark finished 17th in a field of 159 bowlers with an average of 179.8 including a high of 211 in the fifth game.
Taylor Rickard finished 32nd with an average of 172 including a high of 209 in the second game.
Sidney Adams finished 78th with an average of 137.6.
Anna Sieffert averaged 137 and finished in 79th place.
Ryan O'Rourke finished 31st in a field of 204 bowlers with an average of 185.8 including a high of 217 in the first game. Diante Johnson placed 37th with an average of 180.8 including a high of 210 in the first game.
Sean Taylor finished 52nd overall with an average of 171.4 including a high of 205 in the fifth game. Mike Velesovsky finished 57th overall with an average of 169.2.
