Box ScoreGRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – In a week that will see them play four matches, all against conference foes, the No. 19 ranked men's tennis team got it off to a fast start with a 9-0 sweep of cross-town foe Cornerstone University. The win is the second of the year over the Golden Eagles and gets the Panthers off to a 1-0 start in the WHAC. DU will take on No. 9 Aquinas on Tuesday at Riverview Athletic Club at 6 p.m.
The men's tennis team got off to a fast start to a busy week as the Panthers posted nine wins to make it a sweep of their cross-town rivals from Cornerstone. DU won the three doubles matches while dropping only eight games and then did not need a third set in any of the six singles matches to post the 9-0 win.
