GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The 13th ranked Davenport volleyball team will continue their NAIA National Championship run on Tuesday. The Panthers were placed in Pool A with No. 1 Rocky Mountain College (Mont.), No. 12 Lindsey Wilson College (Ky.), and host Briar Cliff (Iowa). Pool play will take place from Tuesday through Thursday. The Lady Panthers will open up play in Sioux City, Iowa on Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. EST against Lindsey Wilson.

Scouting Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) – 33-3, 14-0 MSC – Head Coach Andy CavinsThe Blue Raiders are making their fourth consecutive appearance in the NAIA National Championships. Lindsey Wilson is the 12th overall seed in the tournament and received their bid as the fifth at large team. In the opening round of the tournament, the Blue Raiders swept Xavier 3-0 to move onto Sioux City. Lindsey Wilson compiled a 33-3 record this season and 14-0 in the Mid-South Conference, but fell in the conference championship game to Georgetown College.

Scouting Rocky Mountain (Mont.) – 29-2, 14-0 FC – Head Coach Laurie KellyRocky Mountain College is the number one overall seed in the tournament and received a bye to Sioux City. The Battlin' Bears put together a 29-2 record this season en route the Frontier Conference Tournament Championship. The two losses for Rocky Mountain came at the beginning of the season at the Red Lion Biola Tournament against Concordia (Calif.) and Dordt (Iowa). This is the fourth appearance in the NAIA National Championship for the Bears.

Scouting Briar Cliff (Iowa) – 19-12, 8-8 GPAC – Head Coach Trevor SchirmanThe Chargers finished the season with a 19-12 record on the year and grabbed the host berth to receive a bye to Sioux City. This is the third appearance Briar Cliff has made in the National Championships. The Chargers have a combined 1-5 record in the tournament. Briar Cliff bowed out in the Great Plains Athletic Conference Tournament Quarterfinals to Dordt College.
