Scouting Indiana Tech – 11-6 (6-3 WHAC) – Head coach Al Grushkin (4th Year)
Fourth year head coach Al Grushkin has seen a lot of turnover over the past few seasons but has a solid lineup once again led by two-time WHAC Player of the Week Rontray Chavis. The Warriors come into the game on Saturday with an overall record of 11-6 while they are 5-3 in league play. Chavis leads the team in points per game at 16.8 and he is joined in double figures by Nick Lewis (11.8) and Jeff Hoskins (10.4). As a team, the Warriors are averaging 68.8 points per game

Last Year vs. Indiana Tech
Davenport swept the season series from the Warriors last year and culminated their second straight WHAC title with a 67-57 road win in Fort Wayne on the last Saturday of the regular season. DU also posted a 70-52 win over Tech earlier in the year in which the Warriors were ranked No. 18 in the country at the time.

History at Schaeffer Center
Davenport has not had much success in Fort Wayne as they are just 2-8 but have won two of the last four including last year's regular season finale.

Paddock vs. Home State
Since Burt Paddock became the head coach before the 2008-09 season, he has had much success against schools from the state in which he was born.  In the 33 contests against a total of 12 different programs, Paddock is 26-7
