GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Panthers come back hot after a relaxing Thanksgiving break with a three game weekend. First up is a Friday-Saturday series against Michigan State starting in East Lansing at 8:30 p.m. on Friday and finishing up at Patterson Ice Center on Saturday at 8:20 p.m. After a nights rest, they will host the undefeated Farmingdale State College for a mid-afternoon game at Patterson with the puck drop at 3:20 p.m.

Scouting Michigan State
The Michigan State Spartans have gathered a record of 8-7-0-0-1 throughout the 2013-2014 regular seasons. Before MSU got a week off for Thanksgiving break, they had a three game weekend; game one and two against Lansing CC in which they won 2-1 and 4-2 respectively, and game three where they won 6-1 against Adrian College- Black.
Michael Lipari holds the top spot for number of points earned this season, totaling 16 points, along with his tie for lead in assists with 11. Chris Coyne and Alex Wojnar share the spot for most goals, each putting seven up across the board. Andrew Freeman has both of the major goaltender categories covered. Freeman has saved 251 shots from other teams offenses, and has maintained a Goal against Average of 2.65. The Panthers and Spartans play twice this weekend, Friday in East Lansing at 8:30 p.m. and Saturday they return to Patterson for game two starting at 8:20 p.m.
Scouting Farmingdale State College
Farmingdale State has posted an impressive undefeated record of 8-0 this season. Mike Leprine has made a big difference for the offense this year by playing a leader role as the point and assist leader. Leprine has managed to gather five goals and nine assists for a total of 14 points, nearly gathering two points a game. Jack Radin holds the title for season goal leader with a total of eleven. Austin Liddycoat stands as the team's starting goalie with 126 saves; he has saved all but twelve shots that have flown at him this season. Farmingdale will head to Patterson for a mid-afternoon game on Sunday starting at 3:20 p.m.
Scouting Davenport
Davenport added two more wins onto their record the weekend before Thanksgiving break, beating GVSU 3-1 on Friday and shutting them out 4-0 at GVSU's home rink on that Saturday. Going into this weekend with a record of 15-2-0-1, they will have no trouble competing against MSU and FSC.
Donald Sund leads the Panthers in points by a margin of eight points; total, he has gathered 13 goals and 21 assists for 34 points.
Jake Otto has made himself a threat this season with the puck on his stick by putting sixteen goals on the board for DU.
John Cruse has already added seven wins this season to his record while he has gathered nearly 300 saves in front of the net.
