GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Coming off two tough losses to Miami (Ohio) in the their debut on the ice last weekend, the Davenport women's hockey team returns to action for a two-game matchup with Adrian. The Panthers will welcome the Bulldogs to Patterson Ice Center Friday while on DU will play its first contest on the road as the series shifts over to Adrian's Arrington Ice Arena Saturday.

Scouting the Panthers
Despite the losses, Davenport managed to get itself on the board first in both contests.
Chantal Caraher took the honor of scoring the first goal in school history last Saturday while assistant captain
Megan DeVries net the second goal last Sunday. The Panthers also saw both its goaltenders in action over the weekend. Both
Victoria Smishek (game one) and
Lauren Yomantas (game two) posted 35 saves in their respective games but Yomantas made several key saves that helped give her team a chance to clinch the first victory.
Scouting the Bulldogs
Adrian is coming off a pair of shutout victories over Ohio State last weekend, posting scores of 4-0 and 2-0 in the two meetings. Four different Bulldogs found the back of the net in the first meeting while Jessica Fabbro scored the pair of goals in game two. The two victories brought Adrian's record to 2-1-1 on the very young season, having lost to Miami (Ohio) in the opener 4-3 while walking away with a 1-1 tie with the Redhawks in game two.
