Men's Tennis Opens Spring with 7-2 Win at Alma
ALMA, Mich. - Davenport swept the doubles play and posted a 4-2 advantage in the singles as they opened up their spring season with a 7-2 win at Alma College. The Panthers host Lake Superior State next Saturday in their only home match until the middle of March.
Davenport got their spring season started with a bang on Saturday morning at Alma College with a convincing 7-2 win. The Panthers swept the double portion as all three won by identical 8-6 scores.

The singles side four different players post straight set wins as Shumilov and Woods won by the most convincing of scores 6-1, 6-3.
Eric Pell won 7-5, 6-0 and
Victor Roland won 6-3, 6-3.
Davenport wll host Lake Superior State next Saturday and then will play in the City Tournament at Orchard Hills on February 17 and 18.
