Panthers Defeat Rio Grande 4-1

RIO GRANDE, Ohio, - Davenport was able to recover from a 4-0 loss to Judson with a 4-1 road win over Rio Grande. DU is now 5-2 on the year and will be back in action on Sept. 14 against the University of St. Francis (Ill).
After disappointing defense this past week, DU capitalized on opportunities and worked their way to a 4-1 victory over Rio Grande.
Letesha Cannonier,
Paige Eli and
Lizzie Paul all scored goals for DU giving them their fifth win of the year.
Davenport will be back in action on Sept. 14 when they take on the University of St. Francis (Ill.) at 7:00pm in Joliet.

On Overall Performance: "It was a good performance first half. The trip was good for the girls in terms of more bonding and working together to be focused on our goal of being better every day."
