After that victory it was all Cornerstone as they jumped out to huge lead in set two and carried it with them by defeating DU 25-11, 25-13, 25-15 to take the match 3-1.

Leading the Panthers offense was Megan Vanderhyde who posted 10 kills on the night and also chipping in were Joyce Larioza and Heather Deal who each posted 7 kills. Davenport's offense was the story in set one as they posted 16 kills as a team but were only able to come up with 22 more in the final three sets. CU hit .314 for the match compared to only .113 for the Panthers and CU was able to post 6 aces in the match.
