Kylene Geyer

Kylene Geyer is in her sixth season as the Head Coach for the Davenport University Dance Team. Throughout her tenor, she has led the team to many regional first-place finishes as well as two National Titles in 2017* and a multitude of finalist placing pieces in Division II and Division III Hip-Hop. *The National Titles were in Hip Hop Division III and NAIA Small Team Performance.
 
Geyer completed her MBA in Strategic Management at Davenport University. Prior to her Master's program, Geyer received both a Bachelors in Applied Business from Davenport as well as a Culinary Management Degree from the Secchia Institute in Grand Rapids, Mich. Recently she has reignited her learning spirit and is pursuing her second Master's Degree in the School of Science for Data Analytics. She is set to complete that in 2020.

Throughout her collegiate career Geyer performed with the Rampage Dance Team (Arena Football League team) and as a Davenport University Dance Team member herself with past teaching and choreography experience with studios in Grand Rapids. She was the first Dance Team member to sign for Davenport University when the team began in 2009 and the first Captain to be appointed in 2010. She finds happiness in seeing how the world of dance continues to evolve. "It is amazing to see the dance culture transpire and absolutely boom in the past ten years, I am so lucky to have a bunch of progressive and talented individuals on my team and coaching staff. Dance is something special and the Davenport Dance Team brings that to life."
 
Professionally, Geyer is the Senior Marketing Manager for AHC+Hospitality.
