Davenport loses on the road to Adrian College
ADRIAN, Mich. – Davenport opened the 2018 year on the road against a good team in Adrian College. The Bulldogs came into the game with a record of 12-1-1 and ranked second in the country. The Panthers struggled to slow down Adrian College on the offensive side of the puck, which contributed heavily to the loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Davenport jumped on top of the Bulldogs early in the game.
Jaiden Forrest scored a goal 2:31 into the game and gave DU a 1-0 lead, assisted by
Courtney Mulligan. Adrian College scored two unanswered goals to end the period and hold a 2-1 lead heading into the second period.
-The Bulldogs outscored Davenport 11-0 in the second and third period to run away with the game.
-Forrest scored the only goal for DU.
-Mulligan recorded the lone assist.
-
Julia Gaynor kept busy in the net with her 59 saves on the night.
UP NEXT
Davenport will play a mini-series against Michigan State University on Friday and Saturday this week. The Friday game will be played at the Patterson Ice Center with an 8:30 p.m. puck drop.
