A Quick Look at Davenport (38-3, 22-1 WHAC)
Zack Sardellitti had five hits including two doubles and RBI each, Ryan Butzer allowed one run in two appearances as Panthers earned an 11-1, 10-4 doubleheader win at Cornerstone to complete the three-team Beltline Rivalry sweep Wednesday. Corbin Clouse scattered a hit and a walk in three innings in game one before turning it over to Corey Sessions. Sessions would allow an unearned run in the fifth inning while Butzer tossed a perfect inning. Game two starter Brandon MacKinnon lasted only 1 2/3 innings on the mound, allowing three runs on as many hits and two walks. Butzer (5-0) carried the Panthers with 2 2/3 of work while Alex Schuiling and Jonathan Cheshire went the rest of the way with shutout performances.

A Quick Look at Northwestern Ohio (32-8, 20-2 WHAC)
The Racers have been putting pressure on first-place Davenport in the WHAC standings this season as they trail the Panthers by a half of a game. UNOH was idle during the week but are coming off taking 3-of-4 to Siena Heights at home last weekend. Reigning WHAC Player of the Week Jose Cruz hit .429 on the week for the Racers. Cruz posted an on-base percentage of .480 on the week, and a massive slugging percentage of .905 as he racked up 19 total bases in 21 at bats. Cruz added nine RBIs to his three doubles, two triples, and six runs scored, and he also hit a grand slam, he drew a pair of walks, and he was hit by a pitch while only striking out once in 25 plate appearances.
